“My stepmom and father were great individuals and a great couple.”
A private funeral for friends and family is scheduled for Sept. 24th for a family of three that was killed in a tragic, fiery crash on I-110.
“My stepmom and father were great individuals and a great couple,” said Jeremy Williams, son & brother of the victims.

Within a matter of seconds, everything changed for the Fisher family.
Christopher Fisher, 48, Laterrica Williams, 41, and 3-yr-old Christopher Fisher III lost their lives. Fisher and his son died on the scene after their bodies were burned severely. The little boy’s mother, Williams, was rushed to a hospital, but did not survive her injuries unfortunately.
“Everybody was shocked and in disbelief that it happened in this manner,” said Williams. “It’s horrible for the individual to drive off like nothing happened at all.”
The investigation reveals Fisher was driving a Chevrolet Silverado in the right lane and was attempting to change lanes when his truck hit another vehicle. That’s when Fisher lost control, hit a concrete guardrail and overturned before the truck went up in flames. The other vehicle fled the scene.
A homecoming celebration will be held at Hall, Davis & Sons Funeral Home on Sept. 24th starting at 1pm.
Funeral services are only for family and friends but the public is welcome to send flowers and condolences to the funeral home at: 9348 Scenic Hwy., Baton Rouge, La 70807.
