POINTE COUPEE PARISH — Funeral arrangements have been set for the Acadian Ambulance employee killed in a tragic crash in Pointe Coupee Parish Tuesday.
Kymber Nezat, 28, was driving the ambulance when it crashed into a Coca-Cola truck on Morganza Hwy. near Deaton Lane southeast of Morganza near Labarre. She died at the scene.
Nezat, an emergency medical responder, was seven weeks pregnant. It would have been her and her husband’s first child they were expecting. The baby did not survive.
Visitation will be on July 4 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., and the service will be from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on July 5. Both will be at Rabenhorst East Funeral Home located at 11000 Florida Blvd. in Baton Rouge.
Acadian Ambulance is separately planning a celebration of life for Kymber that will be held next week for all her co-workers and friends/family. More details of that will be released as they become available.
