Gas station near LSU robbed, two suspects caught on camera

BATON ROUGE — Baton Rouge police are looking for two suspects who robbed a gas station near LSU Monday morning.

It happened around 7:30 a.m. off Nicholson Dr. near Aster St.

The store’s manager told Unfiltered with Kiran that the suspects allegedly tripped the store’s breaker and waited an hour to see if the store had a backup generator.

The manager said after the suspects found out what they needed, they entered the store at around 7:30 a.m. and asked the manager to open the safe. The Save More Market across the street captured footage of the suspects entering store but not leaving, which prompted the manager to believe the suspects escaped through the back of the Save More.

Police have not released details on the suspects.
