It was around 1:30pm on Thanksgiving day when Baton Rouge Police officers responded to E. Brookstown Dr.
A man had been shot allegedly by his girlfriend.
The man was transported to a hospital after he was shot in the abdomen area. His current condition is unknown at this time.
Details of what led up to the shooting have not been released at this time.
It’s unclear at this time if the girlfriend was arrested and charged or not.
