Girlfriend arrested, accused of stabbing & killing boyfriend

GREENSBURG — The St. Helena Parish Sheriff’s Office is investigating a deadly stabbing that happened overnight on Monday, April 24th.

It was around 3:20am when deputies responded to 138 Museum Rd. in Greensburg.

Officials say a 46-yr-old man was stabbed to death allegedly by his girlfriend during an argument. The victim was identified as 46-year-old Derek Oneil Hall.

The girlfriend, Shelbi Clement, 27, has been arrested and charged with one count of second-degree murder.

The investigation is ongoing to determine exactly what sparked the argument.
