GONZALES — The Gonzales All Stars 12U is continuing its quest for the Dixie Youth Baseball Majors World Series Championship Monday in Ruston.

WATCH NOW as team leaves Ascension Parish

Gonzales beat host Ruston, 7-1 Monday morning. The team will face Dinwiddie National from Virginia at 4 p.m.

Dinwiddie beat Gonzales 6-3 in the team’s first game of bracket play on Saturday. Gonzales defeated Headland, Alabama, 6-5 in pool play last Friday.

The team earned a 10-4 win over the Alabama team in the loser’s bracket on Sunday before Monday morning’s win over Ruston.
