Gonzales: Maintenance tech held at gunpoint at Regions bank

GONZALES, La. — Gonzales Police are investigating an incident that took place Monday afternoon at the Regions Bank on Burnside Ave.

It was around 3pm when sources tell Unfiltered with Kiran that a maintenance tech was working on the ATM at the bank at 916 S. Burnside Ave. in Gonzales. At the same time, a vehicle pulled up in the drive-through of the bank and a man got out putting a gun to the tech.

The suspect demanded money from the tech, who did comply. The suspect then got back in a vehicle and fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money.

It’s unclear what type of vehicle the suspect was in at this time.

At this time, no arrests have been made. The vehicle was last seen heading north on Burnside.
