Gonzales PD searching for missing runaway teen

The Gonzales Police Department is asking for the public’s help finding a 15-year-old missing runaway juvenile.

Officials say Nehemiah King was last seen leaving his home on the morning of Jan. 5 at 6 a.m. wearing a Black hoodie with “Take it Easy on Yourself” in large white lettering on the back, khaki-colored pants, and red /white Jordans.

King is a student at East Ascension High School. Officials say he may still be in the Gonzales or Donaldsonville areas or may have traveled to Baton Rouge.

It is believed he may have been picked up in a 4-door white/ light gray sedan-type vehicle.
