Gonzales Police investigating man’s murder, possible link to December shooting

GONZALES — Gonzales Police are investigating after a man was found dead in the middle of the street on Sunday night.

Kyler Boudreaux, 20, of Gonzales, was found shot to death around 5 p.m. on January 14 in the 900 block of South Abe St., which is off W. Worthey St. near Boudreaux St.

Police said that Boudreaux was also a victim of a separate shooting on December 9. He was reportedly shot in the backyard of a residence on W. Sidney St.

“At this time, investigators cannot rule out a possible link between the two shootings,” investigators said. There are currently no suspects identified in either case.
