Gonzales Police officers are investigating a shooting that took place April 5, 2022 around 10pm at the Courtyard Apartments on S. Burnside.
Officials say the victim was shot while running away and is in an area hospital in critical condition at this time. Officers are monitoring his condition.
Officers do have a warrant for a suspect, but he is a juvenile so his name cannot be released.
