A St James Parish Grand Jury returned an indictment on a Lutcher man accused of stabbing and killing his mother in May.
On Aug. 10, 2022, Lance Louque, 41, was indicted on a first-degree murder charge in the stabbing death of Glenda Elder, according to a spokesperson for the 23rd Judicial District Attorney’s Office.
On May 14, 2022, Deputies responded to a residence where Elder was found unresponsive under the carport with multiple stab wounds.
Louque remains in jail and is held without bond.
