The Louisiana State Board of Private Security Examiner’s executive secretary was terminated Thursday morning following a special meeting.
The board voted unanimously to terminate Bridgette Hull from her position following her arrest on drug and gun charges on Sept. 6.
Dynette Burke made the motion to terminate Hull and Ritchie Rivers seconded the motion.
The board appointed Stephanie Richardson as the interim executive secretary. Richardson previously served as the section chief of compliance and investigations.
The board appointed a committee to begin the search for Hull’s permanent replacement.
Hull was allegedy buying drugs from Steven McCarthy near a McDonald’s in Albany. Sources say McCarthy is Hull’s boyfriend.
Before the sheriff’s office arrived, officials say McCarthy fled Albany traveling west. He hit another vehicle and that driver sustained minor injuries.
