The initial investigation shows that Gauthier was driving a Mahindra 5005 DI Tractor north on LA 441. At the same time, a 2008 Chevrolet Malibu was behind behind the farm tractor.

The driver of the Malibu was buckled and was transported to a local hospital with moderate injuries. This crash remains under investigation.
