A house caught on fire on Kent St. in Baker overnight killing one person and sending a second person to a hospital.
Firefighters responded to the home around 2am after a pot was left unattended starting the fire.
One person died on the scene from the fire and one person was transported to a hospital. Their condition is unknown.
The name of the deceased has not been released at this time.
