Human remains found in wooded area in St. Helena Parish

PINE GROVE – Human remains were found Monday morning in St. Helena Parish. 

According to the St. Helena Parish Sheriff’s Office, the remains were found around 8:35 a.m. off Tungoil Road in Pine Grove.

Officials say scientists at LSU facial lab were informed to help process the scene.
