
PLAQUEMINE — The Iberville Parish Sheriff’s office is investigating a shooting that took place Wednesday night at a gas station.
Officials describe it as a “shootout” given the amount of shell casings left on the scene.
It was around 8:30 p.m. at the Jubilee Gas Station on La 1 in Iberville Parish when it appears multiple people started shooting at each other. No one was hit and everyone fled the scene.
At this time, Iberville deputies are investigating and no further details are have been released. It’s also unclear what led up to the shooting.
Officials are asking for any help or tips that could help deputies. Anyone with any information is asked to call the Iberville Parish Sheriff’s Office at 225-687-5100.
