IBERVILLE —- Iberville Parish Sheriff’s deputies have arrested a 39-yr-old man from Addis in connection to a killing earlier today.
It was around 1:15pm when IPSO deputies responded to Folse St., off of Bayou Rd. for a shooting.
Iberville Parish Sheriff Brett Stassi says the victim, Donnie Ray Brown, was killed with a shotgun that was later tossed in a body of water. He was rushed to a hospital but did not survive his injuries.
Sheriff Stassi said they learned their suspect was Vicimin Stevens. He was located in Addis, arrested & charged with second degree murder.
“He admitted to shooting and killing him after an argument,” said Sheriff Stassi.
