Inaugural “Jingle Jeepin” Jeep parade to roll through Port Allen

As the Oak trees will light up in Port Allen in West Baton Rouge ahead of Christmas, a line of decorated jeeps will parade down the streets for the very first time in a Jingle Jeepin’ jeep parade.

Whitehead Blvd. in Port Allen is where parade-goers will want to be as officials flip the switch to light up the Oak trees at 6pm.

The best part is anyone is welcome to join in the parade as long as you have a Jeep. Anyone interested in riding must call the West Baton Rouge Convention & Visitor’s Bureau at 225-344-2920 email Victoria Hughes at vhughes@wbrcvb.com to confirm a spot.

Jingle Jeepin' jeep parade

The parade will roll on Dec. 2nd, 2022 with all riders meeting at the West Baton Rouge Convention & Visitor’s Bureau at 2750 N. Westport Dr. in Port Allen at 4pm. The parade will start around 6pm (shortly after the Oaks are lit up on Whitehead Blvd.).

There is no entry fee to be in the parade. In lieu of a fee, all riders are asked to bring a bag of dog or cat food to be donated to the local shelters.
