LIVINGSTON PARISH — Livingston Parish Sheriff Jason Ard confirmed a Livingston Parish Detention Center inmate died Tuesday.
Officials say Joshua Johnson, 33, died at the detention center. Officials believe Johnson died because of a medical issue. No foul play is suspected at this time.
Ard said an investigation is underway between the sheriff’s office and the coroner’s office. More details will be released when the investigation is completed.
