LIVINGSTON — It’s truly a miracle that there were no major injuries reported in a wreck on Interstate 12 West Thursday evening that left a pickup truck smashed between the concrete traffic barrier and an 18-wheeler.
The Town of Livingston Police is handling the crash, which happened around 7 p.m. just west of the Satsuma exit on July 30th.
The mangled pickup truck came to rest between the side of the 18-wheeler and the concrete traffic barrier, with one of its tires over the edge of the barrier.
Traffic was at a near standstill there an hour after the wreck, as emergency personnel worked to move the damaged vehicles.
It’s unclear what caused the crash at this time.
