A traffic stop on Tuesday night, March 8 2022, ended with three people arrested and nearly 63 pounds of marijuana seized with a street value of nearly $150,000.

Iberville Parish Sheriff’s Deputies stopped a Toyota Highlander at mile marker 138 around 9:30pm for improper lane usage.

After speaking with the driver and two other occupants in the vehicle, officials said all three people were very nervous. Plus, their stories did not match up. All three are charged with possession with intent to distribute Schedule I narcotics while the driver iss also charged with improper lane usage.
