BATON ROUGE — The coroner’s office has now identified the body found in the Mississippi River on April 1st near the Baton Rouge City Dock and Planetarium.
Officials identified the body as Adrian Ramirez, 24, of Dallas, TX. The autopsy’s results are currently pending to determine the cause and manner of death.
The body was found around 8:30 a.m. but details surrounding the discovery have not been released.
Multiple agencies responded to the Mississippi River including Baton Rouge Police, firefighters and the coroner’s office.
