PORT ALLEN — The fourth annual Jingle Jeepin’ Parade will hit the streets of Port Allen this weekend. This year’s festival includes the parade, craft market, pictures with Santa, and live music from Tuxedo Speedo.
This is the third year that the parade has morphed into a full-day event with craft vendors, pictures with Santa, prizes for best decorated Jeeps, and live music. Saturday’s forecast calls for rain, but all of the festivities will go on, rain or shine.
All the action starts at noon on Saturday, Dec. 6, at the West Baton Rouge Convention Center & Visitors Bureau. You can take pictures with Santa while also listening to Tuxedo Speedo from 2 p.m. – 5:30 p.m., and the parade begins rolling at 5:30 p.m.

Jeep registration is now closed, and just like in past years, the entry fee was a donation of any size dog or cat food. This year, Jeeps will start lining up at noon, and drivers are allowed to play “tasteful” Christmas music.
According to the Jingle Jeepin’ Parade & Market’s Facebook page, craft vendor spots are still available. You can find applications on the parade’s website.
The inaugural parade was held in 2022 with over 50 Jeeps taking part driving in from all over Louisiana. The Jeeps are decorated with lights, garland and anything else participants want to use while the riders are dressed in costume, festive clothes, or Santa and the Grinch.
