KILLIAN —- A Killian alderman and realtor has been arrested, charged with domestic abuse battery with child endangerment.
Livingston Sheriff’s deputies responded to the Springfield area on Aug. 4, 2024 for a call involving a domestic violence with Lyndon Hendley.
Since then, deputies interviewed the female victim, who said that she had been “physically injured & verbally threatened.” All of that allegedly happened with a child present at the time.
As a result of our investigation, Lyndon Hendley was arrested and charged domestic abuse battery – child endangerment. The charge stems from the alleged incident happening in the presence of a child.
Hendley was booked into the Livingston Parish Detention Center. Hendley currently serves as an Alderman for the town of Killian.
