Latest shooting in Baton Rouge leaves 19-year-old dead

BATON ROUGE — City police officers are investigating the latest deadly shooting in Baton Rouge that left a 19-year-old man dead.

It happened around 10 p.m. on April 20th in the 1300 block of N. 35th St. between Gus Young Avenue & North Street.

Officers arrived to find 19 year old Jeremiah Clark, Jr. shot to the head and died on the scene. The coroner was notified.

It’s unclear what led up to the deadly shooting in Baton Rouge or if any arrest(s) have been made at this time.

Anyone with information on the homicide is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 344-STOP.
