ALEX BRADLEY, 29

The Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office, with the help of Fenton PD & Louisiana State Police, has arrested a person of interest in the stabbing & carjacking investigation on I-12. Alex Bradley, 29, of Fenton was arrested and when he’s transported to Livingston Parish, he will be charged with carjacking, attempted first degree murder and an unrelated theft of a motor vehicle.

Around 5pm on March 16th, deputies responded to I-12 westbound between Satsuma & Walker in reference to a stabbing/carjacking.

Unfiltered with Kiran has learned the victim who was stabbed is a veteran.

“The victim was parked on the side of the interstate. The victim was approached by the suspect who was on foot. The suspect requested a ride. The victim agreed. Not long after, the suspect attacked the victim with multiple stab wounds. Why? The motive is still unclear. The victim has now been released from the hospital after receiving treatment for his wounds,” said LPSO Sheriff Jason Ard.

Deputies found the red Nissan Titan truck in Livingston Parish on Thursday off of Juban Rd.

“Lesson learned here is you don’t know who these people are who are walking on the side of the road. They are total strangers, you don’t know their background or what they are capable of. I would avoid stopping there unless it’s an emergency. If you feel like someone needs assistance, call us or your local law enforcement. We’ll be more than happy to check on them and see if they need any type of help,” said Sheriff Ard.
