LIVINGSTON — George Watts Road in Livingston has been closed to traffic because a cross culvert collapsed.
Parish President Randy Delatte said in a social media post that parish road crews were examining the site Friday to evaluate the damage and figure out how to handle it. He said the closure was necessary to ensure driver safety.
Drivers should use alternate routes and avoid barricaded areas, Delatte said.
The parish president’s office will provide updates on the road’s status.
