LIVINGSTON —- A 47-year-old man was killed while walking in an overnight crash in Livingston Parish.
It was around 10:45 p.m. on Saturday, June 28, when Louisiana State Police Troopers responded to a deadly crash involving a pedestrian on LA 63 near Oliver Wheat Road.
Matthew Migliore, 47, of St. Amant, died as a result of the crash.
The investigation so far shows that Migliore was walking north in the northbound lane of LA 63. At the same time, a 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe was also traveling the same way and for unknown reasons, hit Migliore.
Migliore had serious injuries and was transported to a hospital, but did not survive his injuries.
The driver of the Chevrolet was properly buckled and was uninjured.
Impairment is unknown at this time but a routine toxicology sample was taken and submitted for analysis.
