Livingston: Seven arrested & large amounts of meth & fentanyl confiscated

LIVINGSTON —— Over the last several months, LPSO Narcotics Agents had received numerous tips in regards to possible distribution of methamphetamine from two homes. One of the homes was reported to be on Yucan Drive in Denham Springs and one along River Bend in Maurepas.

“Thanks to credible tips from our community, LPSO Narcotics Agents were able to track the flow of illegal drugs being sold by certain individuals,” said LPSO Sheriff Jason Ard. “It takes communities & law enforcement working together to make a positive difference.”

During this investigation, LPSO Agents seized the following:

Methamphetamine (~5+ lbs; STREET VALUE: ~$60,000)

Fentanyl (~20 grams; STREET VALUE: $2,000)

Marijuana (~200 grams; STREET VALUE: ~$5,000)

LSD

Suboxone sublingual strips

2 firearms

Packaging material/drug paraphernalia/scale

Hydraulic Press

US Currency: $1,000 +

As a result of this investigation, the following are in the Livingston Parish Detention Center on various charges:

Alan Wooley, 55
Stephanie Warren, 36
Matthew Skelly, 48
Ronald Fairchild, 58
Robert Baumy, 54
Dollie Ward, 49
Destiny Wooley, 23
