LIVINGSTON — The Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office has fired one of their own after he was arrested on several charges.
Clint Gray, 50, a now former sergeant for LSPO, was pulled over Thursday night, Aug. 10 in Livingston Parish by LPSO and State Police.
LPSO says that Gray was involved in a hit and run while off-duty and in his personal vehicle. No one was injured in the hit and run, according to LPSO.
Gray was arrested and charged with hit & run, DWI, resisting an officer and careless operation.
“This is certainly disappointing news. He is a veteran of the LPSO & his conduct is unacceptable,” said Sheriff Jason Ard.
Multiple sources tell Unfiltered with Kiran Gray “acted a fool.” Any dash or body camera footage would be considered part of an ongoing investigation and cannot be released at this time.
Gray had been with LPSO since 2001 in the uniform patrol division.
A booking photo is not provided due to Act No. 494, which places restrictions on mugshots released to the media for most offenses with exceptions for certain violent crimes.
