A 23-yr-old teacher from Denham Springs was arrested today accused of indecent behavior with a juvenile student.
Kayla Callicott, a teacher at a Livingston Parish High School, was arrested and charged with contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile & indecent behavior with a juvenile.
On November 17, 2022, deputies with the Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office were notified of an alleged incident involving a juvenile.
“Since we began our investigation, detectives have learned we are dealing with two separate incidents here,” said LPSO Sheriff Jason Ard. “While we are limited on what we can release at this time, we can tell you that one incident involves the exchanging of inappropriate messages. The other involves the adult allegedly coordinating with a juvenile in order to provide the juvenile with a cellular device & a vape pen.”
