Livingston woman cooking meals free nightly for those in need

The day after Mardi Gras, Angie Grunewald started cooking meals for anyone who needed them every single day and offered them for free.

Be it leftovers or food she cooks, she’s got something to give out every night of the week. She stopped doing weekends in March.

Those in need go pick it up from her or if they don’t have a vehicle, she finds a way to deliver the meals.

“I love cooking and feeding people, but, I am still doing this because the people I am feeding don’t have the money to buy food. Some people, this is their only meal they get. I am just here to help those in need. I’m not stopping anytime soon,” said Grunewald.

Buying groceries is expensive however, so if anyone can help her continue her mission, please do or if you prefer to drop off donations, just let us know!
