St. Helena Parish Sheriff’s deputies arrested Jarman K. King in connection to a murder in October in Denham Springs.
King, a local rapper from Baker, has been arrested and charged with first degree murder, conspiracy of murder and criminal conspiracy of armed robbery.
The shooting & robbery happened off Calmes Road in Denham Springs on October 22, 2022. Jesse J. Thomas III was shot and killed in the incident.
Even though the address on the home where the shooting happened is a Denham Springs zip code, it falls within St. Helena Parish.
St. Helena Parish Sheriff Nat Williams said several agencies assisted with the arrest of King and extended his appreciation.
This remains an ongoing investigation.
