Gaubert was a 19-yr veteran of the Louisiana State Police having started his career with LSP in 2002.
Gaubert was allegedly shot and killed at the hands of Matthew Mire around 3am, but he wasn’t found until nearly 6pm near Airline & Jefferson highways near the Capital One Bank in Ascension Parish. Colonel Davis said that part remains under investigation.
