After Tiki Tubing owners John Fore & wife Patricia Fore were arrested last week for sexual battery, the Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office reports they have gone back and re-examined an allegation from 2019.
“As a result of the 2019 complaint being brought to the Sheriff’s attention and his personal review of the details of the case, the detective has been disciplined,” said LPSO.
The detective working the 2019 case was previously reassigned and has not been working in the sex crimes division.
Both husband and wife are charged with a count of sexual battery each in separate cases.
The mother of a then 17-yr-old spoke to Unfiltered with Kiran saying her daughter and she called LPSO with a sexual abuse allegation against Patricia Fore in 2019. (Details of her story are above in previous story) But the mother said it did not go anywhere.
With the arrest of John Fore, sources said the case against Patricia grew stronger leading to her arrest.
That mother said today in response to the news that the detective on her daughter’s case has been disciplined, “I haven’t heard anything from them on it. I saw on the news that it went to the DA today too. I’m glad to hear they’re taking this seriously & I hope they make it right.”
LPSO did wrap up their investigation and deputies have since turned their case over to the district attorney’s office.
“The information, evidence and statements that are a part of that investigation have been compiled and are being submitted to the District Attorney for review and prosecution,” said LPSO Sheriff Jason Ard.
The sheriff continues to ask that any other victims of this defendant or John Fore to please come forward.
Unfiltered with Kiran did ask for specifics on the detective’s discipline, but LPSO said that would not be released.
