WALKER — A fight between two sisters and their father led to a double murder in Walker, LPSO said.
Kennetra Ary, 22, was arrested for the murder of her father and younger sister. She was booked into the Livingston Parish Detention Center on two counts of first degree murder.
Deputies say that Kennetra Ary lived with her father Kenneth Ary at the Pleasant Oaks Mobile Home Park in Walker. Her sister Helen Ary, 21, was in town from Texas visiting when investigators say the three got into an argument just before 7 p.m. Wednesday.
“This argument led to the suspect retrieving a firearm,” Sheriff Jason Ard said in a statement. “The suspect fired multiple rounds towards her father and sister which claimed both of their lives.”
No one else was involved in the fight, investigators said.
