
The Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office is investigating multiple calls for “shots fired” at the front of the Nickens Lake subdivision off of 4H Club Rd.
Witnesses tell Unfiltered with Kiran it happened before 9pm and people in the Nickens Lake subdivision reported seeing a silver vehicle speeding through their neighborhood. Neighbors added an abandoned vehicle was also found in the area.
LPSO now confirms two vehicles are connected to the scene: a disabled vehicle along 4H Club Rd. and another vehicle identified as a dark colored car.
There were dozens of shell casings on the scene as well as a pair of flip flops.


Sources said two people did show up to a Baton Rouge hospital with gunshot wounds, non-life threatening injuries. LPSO said one of the men shot in the hand is now connected to the scene. LPSO added he’s from the Baton Rouge area and residents in Nickens Lake were not the intended target of the shooting.
Detectives are still trying to piece together exactly what happened.
