Reports of shots fired near LSU, scene cleared with no patients found

BATON ROUGE — Police are investigating reports of shots fired near LSU’s campus.

LSUPD reports that shots were fired near the West Campus Apartments on Alaska near Aster St. at around 2 p.m. Both LSUPD and Baton Rouge police responded to the scene.

According to officials, no victims were ever located. EMS responded to the scene, but also confirms they have not transported any patients. The scene was cleared around 2:30 p.m.
