Man accused of burglarizing apartment ends up shot

It was around 4:45pm in the Tigerland area on Oct. 3rd when officers responded to calls for “shots fired.”

It was in the 1100 block of Jim Taylor Dr., off of Alvin Dark Ave.

When officers arrived, they found a man who had been shot.

The two men who were allegedly chasing the man who was shot told officers he broke into their apartment earlier in the day.

Both men remained on the scene and it’s believed one of them was the shooter.

Meanwhile, the man who was shot was transported to an area hospital for his injuries.
