The East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office arrested and charged a man after he allegedly had sex with a juvenile under the age of 12.
Deputies arrested Louis Williams, 24, and charged him with first-degree rape.
According to law enforcement officials, text messages between Williams and the victim were recovered where Williams allegedly admitted having sex with the juvenile.
Authorities said during an interview at the EBRSO headquarters, Williams confessed to having sex with the victim one time in February 2022.
Williams was booked in East Baton Rouge Parish Prison.
