Man arrested for “making sexual advances towards guard dogs”

A 28-yr-old has been arrested for allegedly making sexual advances towards two guard dogs, according to BRPD.

Baton Rouge Police officers arrested Rage Hewitt and accused him of going into a business unlawfully in the 3400 block of Cedarcrest Ave. on May 20, 2022.

Hewitt was arrested in Ascension Parish on an unrelated charge and was extradited back to Baton Rouge.

Hewitt is charged with aggravated cruelty to animals, attempted sexual abuse of an animal and unauthorized entry of a place of business.
