Man charged with rape by Shreveport PD may be in Baton Rouge

The Shreveport Police Department is searching for a man charged with rape whose last know address was in Baton Rouge.

A report of sexual assault of a juvenile was made to the police department on May 19 of this year. Christopher McKnight allegedly raped a minor at a local Shreveport hotel.

The Shreveport Police Department took to social media to ask their followers to share McKnight’s information with “SOUTH LOUISIANA FRIENDS.”

Detectives began an investigation into the matter and gathered evidence to secure a warrant.

The warrant charged McKnight with one count of Second-Degree Rape.

A bond was not set at the time for the man charged with rape.

The Shreveport Caddo Crime Stoppers will pay a cash reward for any information that leads to McKnight’s arrest.
