Man goes missing while vacationing in New Orleans

A wife reported to the New Orleans Police Dept. that her husband, Yves Filion, went missing while they were walking around the Crescent City.

A wife reported to the New Orleans Police Dept. that her husband, Yves Filion, went missing while they were walking around the Crescent City.

The wife told police that Filion, 73, and her were visiting New Orleans and walking in the area of Esplanade Avenue and North Rocheblave streets around noon on Thursday, Dec. 16, 2021. The wife said at that point, she lost track of her husband and all attempts to find him since have been unsuccessful.

Anyone with additional information on Yves Filion’s whereabouts is asked to contact NOPD First District detectives at 504-658-6010.
