Baton Rouge Police are investigating a deadly shooting that happened July 18th in the 12000 block of Lorna Avenue.
Officials say Victor Gomez Vargas, 30, was shot and killed during an attempted carjacking. Vargas died at the scene.
Detectives don’t have a suspect at this time. The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is urged to contact the violent crimes unit at 225-389-4869 or Crime Stoppers at 225-344-7867.
