The Walker Police Dept. is asking for the public’s help in identifying the individual caught on camera allegedly robbing the Subway on Florida Blvd. in Walker.
It happened around 6:20pm on July 26th. Walker PD’s Capt. John Sharp said a white man walked into the Subway, looked around and waited until there were no customers present.
He then ordered a sandwich and when it came time to pay for it, he allegedly pulled out a small black handgun and demanded the employee give him the contents of the cash drawer.
He then fled on foot. No one was hurt.
He was wearing a stocking cap, sunglasses and a Covid mask, a long sleeved “Hollister” brand hoodie, dark sweat pants, and appeared to have shoulder length dark hair.
He took an undisclosed amount of cash along with the sandwich he ordered.
Anyone with information on the suspect’s identity or his whereabouts is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 344-STOP.
