Man shot and killed at BREC park

BATON ROUGE — Baton Rouge police are investigating a deadly shooting at a BREC park Tuesday morning.

Police say Troy Williams, 23, was shot multiple times at a park in the 4100 block of Geronimo St. The address is listed as Ken-Warren Playground and is located in north Baton Rouge near Aliquippa St. and Mohican St. not far from I-110.

Williams died at the scene. Police say a motive and suspect for the shooting are unknown at this time noting it is an ongoing investigation.
