Curtis Trusclair, 31, has just died after he was shot multiple times on Nov. 17 after going to the scene of a car crash.
One of the drivers involved in the crash called Trusclair to the scene, and after he arrived, the other driver involved in the crash, Darrel Jupiter, allegedly became upset and shot Trusclair multiple times. At the time, the Baton Rouge Police Department believed Trusclair would survive the incident, but after being transported to a local hospital he ultimately died from his injuries.

After the shooting, Jupiter was booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison. He is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
Jupiter currently has the following charges:
- Aggravated Criminal
- Illegal Use of Weapon
