Man wanted after allegedly stealing Christmas toys from Dollar General

HAMMOND — A man accused of stealing Christmas toys from a Dollar General is wanted but the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office needs help identifying and finding him.

It was on Dec. 16, 2023 when a man entered the Dollar General store on Pumpkin Center Rd. around 9:30 p.m. and proceeded to fill a shopping cart with Christmas toys and other Christmas related items. The accused suspect then left the store with the items, never having paid and exited the front door.

TPSO said the man loaded the stolen items into the back seat of a red Dodge Charger with no license plate, which was seen backed into the handicapped area.
