Man wanted for allegedly stealing Entergy truck & multiple propane tanks

GONZALES — The Gonzales Police Dept. is asking for the public’s help in finding Kelly Philander Webb, 57, of Baton Rouge.

Gonzales detectives say on the evening of Dec. 26, 2023, Webb allegedly forced entry onto the Entergy Lot at 1619 S. Burnside Ave. He’s then accused of stealing multiple spools of wire and equipment before driving off in one of their marked trucks.

In the morning hours Dec. 27, 2023, Webb allegedly drove the stolen Entergy truck to Cabela’s Marathon at 2619 W. Hwy. 30 and stole 14 propane tanks.

Officials say Webb lives on Gardere Lane in Baton Rouge, and officials are asking for the public’s help in locating him.
