Man wanted in connection to $6,000 worth of stolen cigarettes

GEISMAR — The Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in finding a man in connection to several cigarette cartons stolen. .

Detectives with the APSO Property Crimes Unit are hoping to identify and locate the man in the above video.

He’s wanted in connection to a large quantity of cigarette cartons stolen that were valued at approximately $6,000.

It happened on April 15th around 9:15pm at a gas station along Hwy. 73 in Geismar.

Detectives say the man left the scene in what appears to be a gray colored Honda Accord.

Anyone with any information is asked to call the Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office anonymously at 225-621-4636 or by texting 847411 to the anonymous tip line from any cellular device or Crime Stoppers at 225-344-STOP (7867). You must call Capital Region Crime Stoppers to receive a cash reward.
